My name is Peter Pikkert. I have lived most of my adult life in the Middle East and, together with my wife Anna, continue to reside there–when not teaching elsewhere. We have two grown-up children, Owen and Rita.
Besides my family, my loves are the Middle East, its languages, literature, theogy, the Bible and Jesus Christ (not in that order).
I am an adjuct faculty member at Toronto Baptist Seminary, where I teach Applied Linguistics, Christian-Muslim Relations and Missiology, and am the lead facilitator for the applied linguistics course PLANTS, taught by MissionPrep (Toronto). I teach seminars on language learning techniques to various Christian agencies around our fragile globe.

about pikkert hi, i”m the man that reseach our family history we are coming from germany in 1445 we are 445 years old but there must be a UNGARN line in our family eho emigrated to U.S.A. in the years after world war second. my website is not ready i”m stil working on it. the PIKKERT family is emigrated to all countries over the ocean but there is one going to australie , and that was my uncle, we are coming from WESTFALEN in GERMANY especially from the place ANHOLT close to the dutch border, and there must be a farm into the NETHERLANDS into provinc GELDERLAND. and there is a place PIKKERT in BELGIUM between ANTWERPEN and BRUSSEL, but that has no connection with our family name. what i want to ask is this can you find the email adresses from the other PIKKERT in ALBERTA.,in REDDEER,LACOMBE,PONOKA CALGARY EDMONTON, in ONTARIO lives also a PIKKERT family thats my cousin,i”ve been ther four times last time was in 1996. i hope you have enough information about our family. i wait on your answers .

There must be eighteen members of our emigrated to CANADA U.S.A. AUSTRALIE.there has lived a member in SAVANNAH GEORGIA U.S.A. but these members are gone, here in the NETHERLANDS living about 40 members of our family.wat else can say more about our family history, i don”t know any more ,i watch the site from http://www.familyreachs.com i finisht this letter.

ja ik ben historicus ik jaren naar de stamboom gezocht maar mijn gezichtsvermogen laat het toe dat ik nog verder ga . ik ben inmiddels 63 jaar loop al dertig jaar met mijn ogen in het ziekenhuis. na het overlijden van mijn vader ben ik daar mee begonnen.
